Biography:

Panagiotis (Takis) Tsoutsanis is Senior Lecturer in Computational Fluid Dynamics within the School of Aerospace, Transport and Manufacturing at Cranfield University. His research interests are in the broad area of numerical methods development for compressible flows and high-performance computing. In particular, he is focused on high-order non-oscillatory methods for unstructured meshes applied to single and multi-component compressible flows and massively parallel computations. He is the author and project leader of the open-source UCNS3D framework (www.ucns3d.com) and his research is supported through a balanced portfolio of EU/UK research council funding as well as industry sponsored research projects.
