The ISCFD teams up with BosonQ Psi and Quantum Computing India

Updated: May 26, 2021

BosonQ Psi, Quantum Computing India, and the ISCFD join forces to Deliver the World’s First Knowledge Series and Hackathon on Multi-Physics Simulations using Quantum Computing.

Throughout November and December 2020, the ISCFD joined forces with BosonQ Psi and Quantum Computing India to deliver the Quantum Winter knowledge series and hackathon. With over 200 participants, Quantum Winter strived to bridge the gap between computer scientists pushing the quantum agenda and the multi-physics simulation community who will ultimately benefit from this disruptive technology. Six international speakers presented a weekly seminar on a different multi-physics simulation topic which concluded with a hackathon that pitted budding students and enthusiasts against each other to write real quantum computing algorithms on the Qiskit platform – the winners receiving a cash prize. All Quantum Winter talks can be found on the BosonQ Psi YouTube channel.

“Quantum Winter was one of the first joint international efforts by three diverse organisations to educate and inspire people about the cross-section of multi-physics simulations and quantum computing.”
Abhishek Chopra, Founder & CEO, BosonQ Psi

BosonQ Psi Pvt. Ltd. is a state-of-the-art SaaS-based enterprise software venture that is leveraging the power of Quantum computing to speed up virtual simulations of Multiphysics and Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) nature.

Quantum Computing India supports initiatives in quantum computing through India, aiming to become the incubator centre for quantum start-ups whether that be in the field of finance, cryptography, machine learning, and multi-physics simulations.
